這首歌分手初期那種不開心的心情描述得很立體，
每句到尾都不忘強調一次:
“you can make me whole again”，
可不是嗎？
相戀的時候覺得對方讓自己完整，
分手時當然也會覺得自己被活生生拆掉一部分，
不過我想在歌詞裡，大概還有乞憐之意。

刻意描述自己茫然漫步街上，
描述自己即使和旁人談笑也無法忘懷傷痛，
即使有歡笑時也只是一時片刻，
刻意描述自己自分手後的憂傷，
就是想用來打動分了手的舊情人，
希望得以破鏡重圓。
